Two Are Better Than One

by Brett Fuller on June 12, 2017

Solitary living was never apart of God's finished plan. When He made Adam, He assigned him to the Garden of Eden as its cultivator. Eve's arrival was later but she was not an afterthought. Her delay was to allow Adam to experience life without help-- thereby accentuating the need for fruitful companionship (Gen 2:15-24).

Eccl 4:9 says, ³Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor." Is there anyone helping you to receive a good return on your labor? What relationship increases the fruitfulness of your spiritual life? Is there anyone who might identify you as the one who makes their life more productive? If so, great! If not, your relationships are at best malformed or you are a practicing hermit. In either case, you are falling short of God's prescribed method of increasing your productivity.

If you are already properly aligned, press to produce more. If not, ask God to reveal your partner in productivity. They will help you live right and live well...
