Trusting God for the Increase

David says in Psalms 16:6 "The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me." This is the same David who when Jesse (his father) was told by the prophet Samuel to bring his boys before him to see which of them was to be anointed king, was left in the field to care for the sheep? This was the same David who though fiercely loyal to his superiors and his country, was branded an insurrectionist and hounded as a fugitive from justice- pursued by every law enforcement agency in the land.

Though overlooked by his family and hunted by his king, David resisted the urge to move his boundary markers to a more favorable location. He trusted his God who could easily increase the size of the playing field. As a result, he could live in tight spots as if they were broad places.

So, no matter the circumstance, let David's example inspire you to "live large" even when it gets a little tight. Live right, live well...
