Strategy for Your Victory

by Brett Fuller on July 19, 2021

In 1 Kings 20:1-21, Ben-hadad king of Aram besieged Israel's capital city, Samaria. Ahab, king of Israel, having submitted to most of Ben-hadad's requests finds himself with no choice but to fight when Aram's king makes a demand which inspires every man to war. He demands everything…

As Ahab contemplates his battle strategy, the Lord speaks saying He is going to give Ahab victory over Aram. In verse 14, Ahab then asks, "By whom?", and God says, "By the young men of the rulers of the provinces." That day, the youth routed the enemy and secured the victory of which God spoke.

Few people view young folks as God sees them. When the Lord looks at youth, He sees more than potential- He sees capableness. Jeremiah, David, Samuel were all too young to be used by men, but just the right age for God.

Who are the young people in your life and how do you see them? Ask God to open your eyes so when the enemy attacks, you won't overlook a possible strategy for your victory. Live right, live well...
