Noah exited the ark only to enter a devastated world. Talk about flood damage- the earth had been covered with water for nine months

For Noah, to have an economy in recession would have been a blessing. Get this, he was the economy! Oceanic waters raised the salinity levels in the soil, complicating crop production. The grocery stores were closed, the bank doors were locked, Wall Street was "under water" and gas stations were empty.

The lone bright moment came in Genesis 8:22 when God said, "While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."

When God said that as long as, “…the earth remains…" mankind could be assured of a harvest, Noah knew his sowing would produce increase even in tough economic times.

Last word on the street was that the earth was still here. Therefore, seedtime & harvest must continue. So, if you think you might need a harvest in famine, give right, give well...
