Open Your Spiritual Eyes

by Brett Fuller on April 27, 2020

In 2 Kings 6, Elisha finds himself in the city of Dothan surrounded by Aram, a foreign army, which has come to take him captive. Reason: using his prophetic gift, he continually foiled their plans of ambush by supernaturally revealing to the Israelite king when and where the ambush was to occur.

With Aram's army numbering in the thousands, Elisha's servant becomes gripped with fear. In verse 17, Elisha prays for the Lord to open his servant's eyes that he might see the support God has supplied. At that moment, his servant's eyes were opened to see the innumerable horsemen, chariots and angelic beings waiting to be dispatched for their defense. Fear was immediately vanquished, and security stilled his heart.

Today, try "tipping" others to the enemy's schemes. If you do, when you feel the adversary surrounding you with overwhelming force, all you will need to do is open your spiritual eyes to see the overwhelming force which can overwhelm the overwhelming force trying to overwhelm you. Live right, live well...
