God's Masterpiece

by Brett Fuller on June 05, 2017

When a master creates a masterpiece, it remains a one of a kind. Its value inspires counterfeit attempts but those who know the original can easily identify the fake. Replicas by the thousands are made, but none match the archetype.

Eccl 3:15 says, “That which is, has been already and that which will be, has already been, for God seeks what has passed by.” God is the Master who created the masterpiece called the world. When He finished creation it was perfect and worked perfectly. Adam and Eve were God’s regent on the earth and Eden was the earthly representation of heaven’s abundance and quality. They lived life at the highest level.  Adam’s fall from grace plunged the world into a degenerative state which tends to accelerate toward destruction.

In His desire to minimally restore mankind to his default setting, God’s been seeking, “…what has passed by.” Therefore, let’s not repeat Adam’s mistake. Our obedience may bring us one step closer to experiencing His kingdom realized on earth as it is in heaven (Matt 6:9). Live right, live well…
