Faith That's Worthy To Emulate

Good leaders are worthy of being followed and emulated. Hebrews 13:7 says, “Remember your leaders, those who spoke the Word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.

The writer of Hebrews understands that leadership is important and whether it is temporarily absent or within reach, must not be forgotten. He wants his readers to recall the fruit of their leader’s good living. He also desires they followers copy their leader’s faith.

How do you remember those who have led you? Acknowledging their effort is a start. Thanking them and gifting them are other substantive ways. Still, good leaders lead because they believe that they need to bring the follower to a different place. So, without neglecting the aforementioned ways of remembering, maybe the best way to remember is to consider the outcome of their life and to then imitate their faith. In that way, you are following someone who tried to help you live right and live well…
