Applying His Wisdom

In John 7:16 Jesus says, "My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me." Whether as a parent, coach, supervisor or friend, our lives are filled with opportunities to instruct others. As Christians, we should have confidence that the Bible has something to say about every aspect of life. The grid of scripture should be the filter through which we run all incoming and outgoing information. Marriage, parenting, relationships, work, coaching, training, financial management, government & conflict resolution are just some of the topics which are addressed by the wisdom found in the Bible.

If Jesus submitted Himself to the Father's instruction, it stands to reason that we who are His followers should so the same. By gathering & collating the wealth of knowledge found in the Bible and then applying His wisdom in a relevant and unobstructed manner, we will not only find ourselves well equipped to teach but, also unusually empowered and sent by God to do so.
