Wives of Grace "Making Connections in Marriage"

You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever. Psalms 16:11

Marriage is very special and having strong bonds of connection with our spouse can increase our joy and help us experience greater togetherness. Effectively building these bonds requires intentionality and are best done with God’s help.

Join us to hear more about making connections in marriage on Saturday, June 6 from 11 to 11:30 a.m. EST

This is a virtual event and registration is required to attend. A link to join will be provided 24 hours before the event.

Cynthia Fuller
Cynthia Fuller is the Director of the Women’s Ministry and First Lady of Grace Covenant Church (GCC) in Chantilly, Virginia; where she has led this ministry for over two decades.  In addition to her role at GCC, she mentors Washington Redskins players wives and significant others.

She became a believer in her teenage years and while in college she became active in campus ministry, learned to lead Bible studies and participated in outreach efforts. After graduating from college, she went to work on Capitol Hill in Washington DC and this is where she met the love of her life, GCC’s Senior Pastor Brett Fuller.

After a four-month engagement the two married in December of 1986 and will celebrate 34 years of marriage this year!  They are parents to seven beloved children, two amazing daughters-in-law and four months ago became first time grandparents to a beautiful granddaughter.

After spending more years of their lives together than apart, Cynthia still treasures Brett as the one who is the fulfillment of her heart’s desire as her husband and enjoys the beautiful blessing that he is to her.

Elise Law
Elise Law is a member of the Grace Covenant Church (GCC) women’s leadership team. She has been a member of Grace Covenant Church since 2011. Elise is married to Pastor Stephen, who is an Associate Pastor over various ministries.

She is a mother to three young children and a graphic designer turned-lettering artist.  After giving birth to her first child in 2015, she became a work-at-home mommy, where she pursued her dream of designing and selling her hand lettered pieces of wall art, greeting cards and apparel on her online marketplace, Wonder&Paper.

Elise has a passion to see people come to know Jesus and His love, which is reflected in the messaging of many of her lettering pieces. In 2011, Elise began her career as a magazine designer, and later took on the role of art director for a children's nature/animal magazine, Ranger Rick.

When she's not designing, lettering or teaching workshops, you can find Elise keeping up with her "Todd" Squad and watching cheesy movies with her hubby.  Elise is a lover of simplicity and advocate for making spaces beautiful.

Michele McGraw
Michele McGraw is a member of the Grace Covenant Church (GCC) Wives of Grace leadership team.  She has been attending GCC for almost 11 years and she has been on staff for eight years. She currently serves as the Membership Development Coordinator and previously was the Youth Ministry Administrator.  Michele and her husband Pastor AJ McGraw co-lead the Marriage Ministry at GCC..

She has been married to her husband Pastor AJ for almost 11 years. They have two sons, Logan who is four and Levi who will be two years old, next month.

Michele gave her heart to Jesus at a student conference in middle school and has been walking with Him ever since.  When she is not spending time with her family or serving at GCC, she loves to read books or watch The Office but would prefer to be on the beach.

Monica Thompson
Monica Thompson is a member of the Grace Covenant Church (GCC) Wives of Grace leadership team. She and her family started attending GCC after hearing Pastor Brett preach at a conference in Dallas. Subsequently, they joined the church in 2016.  Next month, on May 10, Monica and John will celebrate 23 years of marriage.

When not managing her household or serving on nonprofit boards to improve education reform and equity, Monica devotes her time to a neighborhood women's bible study, where she is a co-leader. She also has assisted in previous Wives of Grace programs. In her free time, Monica enjoys music, cooking and travel.
