The Prayer Journey
Please note that registration is officially closed for The Prayer Journey, but there are a number of other offerings to take advantage of throughout the month, including our upcoming week of prayer and fasting, our weekly Wednesday night series on prayer, and the Prayer and Productivity session happening this Sunday, January 5th. Please check our calendar for more details.
The Journey: 21 Days of Prayer is about you growing in confidence and consistency in prayer. Through a series of in-person meetings and digital resources (vantage point podcasts, video chats, and more) you’ll learn how to pray through experienced training and coaching, form deep friendships and community and gain confidence while practicing in safe environments. The Journey is open to all ages.
Schedule at a Glance
Jan. 1 from 1-5 p.m.: The Journey Kickoff (Prayer bus tour - transportation provided)
Jan. 4 at 5 p.m.: Young Adult Service at GCC (for participants in their 20’s and 30’s)
Jan. 5 from 2:30-4 p.m.: Prayer and Productivity event at GCC
Jan. 6-10: Praying, fasting and consecration week (self paced / remote)
Jan. 10 at 7:15 p.m.: Night of Worship at GCC (following the service, we’ll break our fast together after the service at Wegman’s Cafe in Chantilly, VA)
Jan. 12 at 8:15 a.m. or 10:15 a.m.: Pre-service prayer at GCC (located in the Prayer room)
Jan. 17 from 7:15 - 9 p.m.: Prayer Shield at GCC
Jan. 18 from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.: Young Adult Winter Retreat (for participants in their 20’s and 30’s)
Jan. 21 at 7 p.m: The Journey’s closing ceremony
Registration fee: $10 per person (fee includes materials and a T-shirt). Space is limited, please register today!
