Grace Cares

Grace Cares is here to walk alongside members dealing with life’s transitions; looking to
become more fit in physical health, mental health, or financial health; or needing support
while serving in the armed services, dealing with a sickness or recovering from a
surgery, or preparing for a newborn. We are here for you.

o Healthy Grace

  • Grace Fit – A wholistic approach to health focusing on your physical and mental well-being as you become spiritually healthy by following Jesus. Quarterly sessions are offered to bring in medical and mental health experts to provide tips and answer your questions on advancements in each field. An annual health fair is held to allow you time in front of industry experts to update you on new health information. In addition, we utilize innovative ways to help you achieve healthy living milestones.
  • Grief Care Class – A quarterly six-week Bible-based intensive to equip you with tools to journey through hope and healing in grief over the loss of a loved one. In this course, we explore what grief is, the various types of grief, and if the feelings we feel are normal. We also recognize the effects of grief and identify techniques as well as biblical understandings of the grief journey. By the end of the course, our hope is that by gaining a better understanding of grief and its process, the information shared will aid in the healing journey (Matt. 5:4).
  • Power Through Trials Class – A bi-annual class to learn how to deal with life’s transitions that can bring adversity and trials. Discover the biblical purpose of adversity - to build your personal faith, inner strength, and intimacy with God. Completion of this 12-week journey will prepare you to perceive life’s challenges from a biblical perspective and equip you to minister to others in their seasons of adversity.
  • Financial Peace University Class – A bi-annual class, Financial Peace University is a proven program that helps you manage your money, eliminate debt, and live a life of financial freedom. Join us for this 10-week journey, where you'll learn practical steps to create a budget, build savings, and give generously—all rooted in biblical principles. Whether you're just starting or need a fresh perspective, this class is for you.

o Supporting Grace

  • Cancer Care – Our team partners with you as a cancer patient or cancer caregiver through all phases of the cancer journey with prayer and support.
  • Bereavement – Our team is positioned to come alongside you and your family to provide support as you face the loss of a loved one.
  • Homebound/Meals-On-Wheels – Our team routinely checks on members that are homebound to keep them connected with their church family. When a member is dealing with the loss of a loved one, recovering from a surgery, or recovering from a sickness or transition, our team supports the member by providing a meal or two as their small group supports them.
  • Military Outreach – As members are deployed for duty for our country, our team supports their family with prayer and check-ins, and the armed service member with routine check-ins and a care package. In addition, the team supports the wear blue: run to remember holiday 5ks and provides clean-up support at the Warrior Retreat at Bull Run.
  • New Babies – Our team provides prayer and maternal support to members expecting newborns. A care package is provided to the family with a few essentials to welcome their new bundle of joy. In addition, the team gathers newborn families to introduce them to one another and the offerings at Grace available to help them raise their child with a biblical foundation.
  • Counseling Conversations - As a church family, we are committed to caring for one another in practical ways. Counselors address questions for different topics each week related to mental, emotional, and relational health. God in His common grace has also provided experts who can help us in particularly difficult circumstances. See our counseling resources featuring counselors, psychiatrists, and specialists in the area. Please note, GCC does not specifically endorse any of the providers or services listed in this list.
