Stone Middle School
Stone Middle School houses over 800 students and exists to develop students that become viable contributors to their community while growing in a greater passion for knowledge. Grace Outreach partners with SMS through various character development programs, Financial Peace University for students and ongoing food and need drives throughout the year.
London Towne Elementary School
London Towne exists to maximize student potential with the goal of forming well-rounded lifelong leaders that impact their communities. As a Title 1 school, they receive government funding to assist students in low income areas reach the challenging standards of Fairfax County. We plan to come alongside London Towne’s through mentoring, tutoring and ongoing food and backpack drives.
Forest Glen Senior Apartments
Forest Glen is low-income housing for elderly adults or those who are disabled in Centreville, VA. Our partnership will include special opportunities to serve and embody grace to this community through crochet clubs, paint parties, bingo nights, and Thanksgiving Food Drives.
Western Fairfax Christian Ministries
WFCM is celebrating 33 years of engaging the needs of the 70,000 county residents that live below the poverty line as a safety net. They provide emergency financial assistance for rent and utilities, financial counseling and budgeting classes and basic needs such as food assistance through their pantry. We are honored to come alongside of them to provide volunteer support and backpack and food drives.
Katherine Hanley Family Shelter
Katherine Hanley is a community based, non-profit organization that provides intervention, safe housing and supportive services to homeless families and victims of violence in our community. They are well on their way to creating a strategy to prevent and end homelessness and domestic violence to which it is a privilege to serve their families once a month with meal and a moment to connect with their families.
Yorkshire Elementary School
Yorkshire Elementary School is a Title 1 school that is committed to forming and shaping the whole child. Serving over 600 students coming from multiple nations, YES is actively engaging community support to assist in the needs of this school. We are entering our tenth year of partnership with YES and are excited to continue character classes, tutoring and ongoing food and backpack drives for families.
Embry Rucker Community Shelter
The Embry Rucker Community Shelter is a 70-bed residential shelter that provides healthy, safe, emergency housing for individuals and families. They are dedicated to helping their clients overcome the circumstances that led to their homelessness, and facilitate their transition to stable housing. We serve monthly meals to residents and support them with ongoing supplies where needed.
Hunter Woods Elementary School
Hunters Woods Elementary School is a Magnet School for the Arts & Sciences. The staff at Hunters Woods is committed to weaving the arts throughout the curriculum. We recently partnered with them donating 10 meals and hats, gloves & scarves collected from our KB drive.
Guilford Elementary School
Guilford Elementary School is entering their 54th year of existence and are more excited about supporting children and their families than ever before. Serving as a Title 1 school, GES is motivated to use creative ways to help students experience knowledge and empower parents to take charge of their children's education. Nestled off of Sterling drive, this school has become a hub for families that are moving from all over the world. Our partnership has plans to expand beyond food drives in 2020.
Carried to Full Term
Carried to Full Term is a Christ-centered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing long-term housing to pregnant women in crisis including women who have been abandoned and are homeless for up to 24 months in a very structured setting. We believe every baby deserves a home and in support of that belief, our overall goal is to transform the lives of the mothers to have them become self-sufficient and independent.
Since 1994, Mosaic has been supporting Loudoun County with the ministry of presence. Their are committed to being available to support women facing unexpected pregnancy, struggling with a past pregnancy decision, sexual health issues, and supporting individuals overwhelmed and unprepared at the thought of being a parent—or being a parent again. We do this by offering community funded and confidential medical services, peer mentoring and educational opportunities to our community. Because our services are free, we have nothing to gain or lose from any of your sexual health or pregnancy decisions.
Time to Fly
The faith-based mission of the Time To Fly Foundation (TTF) is a recognized expert in the space of domestic abuse prevention/ intervention healing. TTF uses a holistic approach to help women regain their God given worth, break the generational cycle of dating/domestic abuse, and strengthen the family unit with the truths of Christ. Since its inception in 2000, TTF serves over a thousand women in the Washington Metropolitan Area using both spiritual and practical life skills training.
Cords of Love
Cords of Love, International is a 501(c)(3) Christian based organization with a mission to make handcrafted baby blankets to be distributed world-wide as well as locally to those in need. Cords of Love provides care packages for new moms or caregivers filled with both a blanket and Bible. They believe that in these acts of love and compassion, they are impacting the Kingdom of God and are a vital part of families encountering the love of Jesus Christ.
International Justice Mission
International Justice Mission finds the children and families who are victims of violence, forced labor, or sex trafficking. They then support local police in rescue operations and help meet the victims’ urgent needs, like safe housing, food, medical care, counseling, and education. IJM is committed to walking alongside survivors until they are fully restored. IJM also tirelessly works to bring criminals to justice and is committed to the strengthening of the justice system.
Every Child Fed
Severe acute malnutrition (SAM) affects more than 20 million children under five years of age at any given time. More than chronic hunger, SAM is the most dangerous form of malnutrition and requires immediate treatment, affecting Africa more than any other continent. These children are at a high risk of reduced physical and mental development without proper care. Every Child Fed supports in creating and providing Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) a high-energy, fortified, ready-to-eat food suitable for home-based treatment of children with severe acute malnutrition (SAM).
