Thanksgiving Day Bags

Sign up to sponsoring a Dominion High School Sterling family for a Thanksgiving day meal. We will be providing food bags which will contain non-perishable items that can be used to prepare a meal and a gift card to purchase a turkey.   

• Drop-off date is Sunday, November 15th.

1. Pick up your empty reusable shoping bag, and instructions from the lobby after church beginning Sunday, Oct 18th.
2. Fill the shopping bag with only the items from the grocery list (Please be sure to reference the paper that will be attached to the bag)
3. Pray for the family who will receive the Thanksgiving meal you packed.
4. Drop off completed box on Sunday, November 15th

Make sure each bag contains the following:

• $20 Grocery gift card for Turkey or Ham.  Please place this in an envelope and staple to the bag.  (Safeway, Giant & Food Lion are the most preferred, due to proximity to the families.)
• 1 Box of Stuffing Mix
• 4 Cans of Vegetables
• Family sized box of Mashed Potatoes. 
• Gravy (1 can or 2 powder mixes only) no glass please
• 2 Cornbread Mixes
• 2 Cans of Cranberry Sauce
• 1 Dessert Mix (suggest a mix that requires minimal ingredients)
