As part of our efforts to Win the City, we’re partnering with GCC Uniontown to serve Bright Beginnings, an incredible nonprofit in Ward 8 dedicated to supporting families experiencing housing instability.

This winter, we want to bless these children and families with warm coats through our upcoming Coat Drive. Starting Sunday, September 13th, we’ll be collecting new and gently used coats in all sizes. We'll be collecting until Sunday, September 27th. You can drop them off in the collection bins on the first floor, or click the link below to purchase directly from our Amazon wishlist to have them shipped to GCC Uniontown.

Georgetown GO: Coat Drive

Join our Georgetown GO Outreach initiatives to serve and seek the welfare of the city!

One of the best ways we love our city each month is through Georgetown GO, and we have two incredible opportunities to serve this month.

1. SOME - Saturday, September 19 (9:45am to 1pm)
We’re heading to SOME which stands for So Others May Eat. A nonprofit organization in DC that provides hot meals for neighbors experiencing poverty and homelessness. We will help prepare and serve lunch as well as connect with people afterwards.

2. Joseph’s House - Saturday, September 27 (8am to 10am)
Joseph’s House provides care for unhoused neighbors. This time, we’re doing something special and cooking breakfast for the house so we can sit down and share a morning together.
