What We Believe
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe there is one eternal, almighty, and perfect God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, and all the benefits therein being accessible to him/her who places his/her trust in Christ alone for salvation.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory..
Holding to the truth of God’s revealed Word, we understand by both faith and experience that God’s Spirit is active and present in the world today. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe ourselves to be commissioned by Christ to preach the Gospel, as we serve our fellow man (Mark 16:15) Thus, as we go into all the world, our aim is to honor God and advance His Kingdom by planting new churches, effectively reach university students, establishing benevolent mission works, and responsibly serving our community.
We believe that Man was created in the image of God, and that God created Man uniquely male and female. The man (Adam) and woman (Eve) disobeyed God's command by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil from which they were not to eat. Their rebellion against God, caused them to be removed from the garden and separated from God’s presence. In His love, God implemented a plan of salvation which would forgive Adam and Eve of their transgression, restore the broken relationship with Him and mitigate the consequences of their poor decision. This plan, effected through Jesus, would allow the same benefits afforded them to be accessed by their descendants.
