At Grace Covenant Church (GCC), we are committed to making disciples and developing leaders, as well as stewarding the next generation. To further this commitment, we have an internship program designed to provide strategic opportunities for young leaders (college students and young adults) to develop their gifts, sharpen their skills, and grow spiritually. Our internship program maintains a holistic approach in developing the whole leader and equipping for success and longevity.
Potential young leaders will have the opportunity to serve at GCC and work closely with ministry leaders and staff in strategic areas of focus. GCC interns will work closely with and be mentored by staff members.

MINISTRY AREAS:
Internships may be available in several key areas of ministry, including:
- Youth Ministry
- Children’s Ministry
- Outreach and Evangelism
- College Ministry
- Event Management
- Marketing and Communication
- GCC-K (Korean congregation)
- Young Adults
- Facilities Management
Potential interns will apply to specific ministry areas per the online application.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants should have an interest in ministry and a desire to learn and grow both spiritually and professionally. Participation in a local church and/or campus ministry is required. Interns should agree with GCC’s stated beliefs. Click here for more information.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
Each intern will be assigned to an overall ministry area, but the internship structure will allow for cross-training in additional ministry functions through job shadowing and projects that bridge into other areas.
Activities will include: Prayer Meetings and Intern-led Devotions; Leadership Training and Equipping; Prophetic Presbytery; Outreach and Evangelistic activities.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT/HOUSING/MEALS:
A stipend will be provided to cover cost of living expenses. Housing will not be provided.
TRANSPORTATION:
All interns are required to have/arrange transportation to and from their work assignments.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
1) Application: Complete the application by April 26th.
2) References: You will be asked to provide three references (pastoral, academic, and peer).

3) Acceptance: Accepted interns will be notified soon after the interview.
DAYS/HOURS
20 - 30 hours per week:
- Tuesdays: 10am - noon
- Thursdays: 1-3pm
All other hours will be worked out with internship supervisor.
