Creating Access. Building Community. Learning Together.
Providing ASL interpretation is an important step toward making our church accessible to the Deaf community here in DC — but true inclusion goes beyond simply providing interpretation.
We want to be a church community where Deaf and hearing people can connect, worship, learn from one another, and grow together. One of the simplest ways we can begin is by providing opportunities for our church community to learn ASL!
Beginning in October, we will be offering free ASL classes at Grace — two this fall, and a full 8-week course in the new year! You don’t need any prior knowledge of ASL and you don’t need a special reason to participate. Everyone is welcome.
Let's be a church community that embraces connection. Come learn ASL with us—and help make our church a place where people of all abilities can feel welcomed, known, and a vital part of God's Kingdom.
Lunch is provided! Register here!
