Ward 6 Health Day

Ward 6 Health Day is a community-driven event designed to promote wellness, dignity, and connectionespecially for our neighbors who are unhoused or facing housing instability. Inspired by the success of Atlanta Health Day, which I launched in 2007, this event will offer free medical services, access to vital resources, food, entertainment, and practical support in a welcoming, celebratory environment. 

Since its inception, Atlanta Health Day has served over 400 guests annually, with the help of more than 200 volunteers, providing flu shots, wound care, a free bookstore and clothing shop, haircuts, and more. We aim to bring that same spirit of care and connection to Ward 6.
