Small Groups

You've probably noticed, but Grace Covenant is not a small church. Sometimes it’s hard to feel like you belong when there’s so many people. And the fast paced nature of life in Northern Virginia makes it even harder. But church was never meant to be just a Sunday hour, where you sit next to strangers and leave. There has to be a sense of community, since we are indeed the household of God.

A small group experience at Grace Covenant Church includes 8-10 people coming together regularly to study the Bible, eat, share, laugh, grieve, pray, and do life together. The goal is to CONNECT relationally and GROW as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Please look at our current groups to find one that meets your needs.

Herndon 2

Friday Evening

Doing the Christian life deeply together! God never intended for us to live the Christian life alone. The mission of this group is to cultivate a safe and welcoming group environment where people can grow in their relationships with Jesus and others. The vision is to have a healthy and thriving Small Group community that grows both deep and wide. God wants to redeem the pain our personal history has caused us and restore in us the joy and peace He promises. This group will help you develop a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ and to submit to the Bible as an authority for your life with an emphasis on applying the truth to each of our lives. Week-in and week-out, we will work to know each other more and more deeply — sharing our hearts and lives, praying for one another, asking questions, and bearing each other’s burdens. We will be persistent learners of one another. And with everything we learn — good, bad, or otherwise — we will strive to love and serve one another — meeting each other’s needs, encouraging growth, and helping one another thrive. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:25). We will meet every other Friday from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. Starting June 9, 2017. Please contact me at ausborn_angela@yahoo.com for more information. Location: Angela's House No child care will be offered. Adults only please.
