Women’s Book Club - Growing in Reading and Relationship

Our next book selection is “Hinds` Feet on High Places” by Hannah Hurnard. HindsFeet is a timeless allegory dramatizing the yearning of Gods children to be led to new heights of love, joy, and victory. In this moving tale, follow Much-Afraid on her spiritual journey as she overcomes many dangers and mounts at last to the High Places. There she gains a new name and is transformed by her union with the Loving Shepherd. Register online for the book club at www.gracecov.org. Enjoy the read and meet with us on Saturday, September 11th at 12 noon to share our thoughts. Bring a bag lunch! Books will be available in the Resource Center.

Whether you have recently decided to follow Christ, or are a seasoned disciple, this 6 week class will help you build that strong foundation that withstands the storms of life. This class, along with Life@Grace, are required for church membership. Childcare is available for ages 6 months thru 5th grade. Please let Children’s Ministry know if your child will be staying for more than 1 service.

Our Life@Grace Class is a 4 week session on Sunday mornings. It`s a great way to find out more about our core values and foundational beliefs as a church. At the end of the course you will be given an opportunity to join the Grace Covenant Family. This course, along with Foundations of Grace, is required for membership. Childcare is available for ages 6 months through 5th grade. Please let the Children’s Ministry know if your child will be staying for more than one service.

Don’t know what a tailgating competition is? Me neither, but that won’t stop me from winning. Bring whatever it takes to enjoy the game to the extreme - your grill, slow cooker, lawn chairs, etc…

Now that the “pretty cooking” is out of the way it’s time to bring your A-game. We’re having a man food cookoff that will be judged by man council resolution.

This fall’s study is based on Kathy Howard’s book “Before His Throne: Discovering the Wonder of Intimacy with a Holy God” available in the Resource Center. Free childcare is available for ages 6 months or older for the Wednesday study if you register in advance.

AWANA is for children ages 4 yrs through 6th Grade. We seek to give children sound Biblical training through scripture memorization, games and a presentation of the gospel. AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” and is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.

GCC offers three clubs: Cubbies for 4 year olds, Sparks for Kindergarten through 2nd graders, and T&T for 3rd through 6th graders. Annual registration is $45 for the first child, $40 for the second, and $30 for each additional child in the same family. Registration covers the clubber’s uniform, books, all awards earned through the year, and the end of the year celebration.

Youth Ministry for Grades 5-12

Based on the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:15 “Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.” Our mid-week Hour of Power includes praise, proclamation and prayer.

Our September baptism class is full. Please check the calendar for the October water baptism.
