How Do Your Kids Spell Love
How do your kids spell “love”? Most kids spell it T-I-M-E.
The alarm interrupted my sleep at 5:55 AM today. I’m up. Dressed. Breakfast. Out the door…the day is already moving fast. If I haven’t forgotten about a late practice or a game, by 6:15 PM everyone will return home and be as tired as I am. Hungry and headed for homework.
It is easy to let school and work take the best part of our day – leaving very little energy for us to give each other. I know that today is packed and tomorrow is going to be a wild one….I’ll bake some brownies tonight.
Seems silly, but brownies hot and fresh out of the oven always bring my people to the table! Hebrews 10:25 says, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another…” T-I-M-E. Funny how we can live in the same house and it can be so hard to pull us all together. I know I’m going to need that T-I-M-E (and chocolate) tonight! My hips may not need the calories, but my heart and soul will be refreshed!
What pulls your family together for some T-I-M-E?
